VALERIA CAPPELLIN
My focuses in animation, art and design can be traced back to my childhood.
Back then, my interest in the arts didn’t have much support and attention because my parents considered my interests so “weird”.
Instead, I was pushed to study at the classical high school, learning Greek, Latin, Maths, Languages, philosophy, History; and basically everything except the thing I truly love: animation.

When I finally reached university, I was able to return to my original calling and began to study graphic design at the New Academy of Fine Arts
in Milan and, once graduated, I worked as an
Art Director.
I was passionate about Art Directing but felt called to push my drawing skills to the next level in order to realize my dream of becoming an animator.
Since beginning my studies at the Vancouver Film School I feel that I am nearing my goal.
